NO ONE HAS EVER WORKED SO HARD TO MAKE SOMETHING TASTE SO LITTLE

Mr. Iceman cubes aren’t like the cubes you make at home. Those cubes are fine, but they require work, melt quickly and can obtain both smell, taste and bacteria from other items in your freezer. No thanks. Our cubes however, are built different. They’re pro athletes – finely tuned for ultimate performance. Below is a brief introduction to our production process explaining what goes into making the best cubes in the business.

FILTERING

Mr. Iceman cubes are made form pure, locally sourced water, but even the cleanest water may have traces of bacteria, and all water has a certain flavor. To ensure our cubes are completely free of taste and smell, it's filtered and exposed to UV-light before moving into production.

FREEZING

The filtered water is then sucked into two giant, 20 feet tall, cylinder shaped ice machines each containing about 500 tiny pipes. The temperature is lowered to about -70 degrees before what are now frozen ice-cylinders are dropped onto a «chopper» and is cut into cubes. This process results in crystal clear cubes with zero taste.

DRYING

After freezing comes drying. We dry our cubes to ensure they don’t stick to each other. If by any chance your ice cubes have turned into big chunks simply shake the bag or drop it on a hard surface.

BAGGING

When the ice is dry it’s bagged into small, medium and large party-bags. Our packaging is made form up to 50% recycled plastic.

STORAGE

The ice that doesn’t go straight out to stores, restaurants, offices and hotels is stored inside the worlds coldest storage-facility. Here you can enjoy a predictable -22 degrees all year long, as well as unlimited access to cubes, sticks, blocks and balls.
